The competition is held according to the rules of the Athletic federation Slovenia, according to this call and the rules of the International Athletics Federation (IAAF). The organizers reserve the right to change the tender conditions and the program of the event. The tender is published on the website www.novomesto21.si
Runners are obliged to follow the instructions and recommendations of the organizers. In case of non-compliance with the provided instructions and recommendations, the organizers do not take responsibility for injuries and other consequences that may occur to runners. Before the start of the event, the organizers inform the runners about all the essential elements of the event, especially about protection measures, the method of registration, competition categories and routes. Every runner is obliged to accept the tender conditions and be acquainted with them. We reserve the right to exclude a runner from the competition and from the venue if the rules written in the tender and detailed instructions are not followed.
The organizer reserves the right to withhold the prize in part or in full if the runner refuses to cooperate with journalists (interview, photography, etc.), does not participate in doping control or does not cooperate with the organizer after the competition. The organizer reserves the right to change this call! The organizers do not take responsibility for the consequences arising from untrue or withheld information.
It is forbidden to run in the half marathon for competitors under the age of 15, and for children under the age of 12 in the 10 km run. Children under the age of 11 are not allowed to take part in the recreational 6.5 km run. Children under the age of 15 can only be registered by their parents or guardians. Parents or guardians shall assume responsibility for all risks related to the appearance of children referred to in this paragraph.
Runners compete at their own risk and apply for the competition healthy and fully prepared for active participation. The organizers advise runners to have a preliminary medical examination, so that runners can rule out any risks that could arise from attending the event. There will be a medical service on duty along the route and at the finish.
The organizers do not take responsibility in case of injuries or other consequences for runners. By participating in a running event, runners take on typical risks arising from the running sport discipline.

By registering, runners, you confirm that the data you have written or given at application, real. You declare that you are healthy, fully prepared for active participation and medically examined. You will follow all the instructions of the organizers and participate at your own risk. You acknowledge that you agree to the risks associated with participating in this activity and therefore will not claim any damages from the organizer.
The event can be attended only by HEALTHY PEOPLE without signs of colds and infections, malaise or fever. Participants are asked to pay attention to any signs of respiratory infection before and on the day of the competition (eg cold, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, muscle aches, fever…).
In the case of special prescribed health requirements or measures, the organizer may require competitors to take a negative Covid-19 test or any other legally prescribed requirements. Masks will be mandatory in the start zone and at the event venue. Before the event, each runner must SIGN a STATEMENT OR QUESTIONNAIRE ON HEALTH. Everyone competes at their own risk! The organizer does not assume any responsibilities.
All competitors and their parents or. guardians and other participants in the competition must comply with the prescribed measures regarding the management of covid-19.

CANCELLATION OR INTERRUPTION OF THE EVENT
The organizers reserve the right to cancel the event, but only due to force majeure or events that we can not or could not influence and prevent us from holding the event in such a way as to ensure the smooth running of the event or the appropriate level of security for participants. rules of professional diligence.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event without refunding the registration fee in case of force majeure that would pose a danger or general danger to participants. The organizers reserve the right to postpone the date of the event. The organizers are committed to do everything in our power to ensure that the event is not canceled. In the event that cancellation is necessary, we undertake to inform the already registered participants as soon as possible through the contact information provided on the application on the organizer's website and, if necessary, through the media. All runners are aware of this and are aware and agree that in the event of cancellation of the event, deregistration from that day will no longer be possible, nor will it be possible to refund registration fees. In case of cancellation of the event, the registration fee is transferred to the next event. In this case, participants are not entitled to a refund of the registration fee. However, they can transfer the entry fee to another person free of charge up to 30 days before the competition. In the event of multiple cancellations of the event due to force majeure, or exceptional circumstances or statutory measures or restrictions, the organizer may decide not to hold the competition. In this case, only the starting package belongs to the participant.
In the event of a road closure or other force majeure beyond the control of the organizers, the competition may be canceled or suspended. In the event that the registered runner is positive for Covid-19 within 10 days before the competition, he is entitled to a refund of the entry fee if he submits a positive test for Covid-19.
PUBLICATION OF RESULTS
The official results will be published on the website of the Novo mesto Half Marathon (www.novomesto21.si) and on the website of the official timekeeper Protime (www.protime.si). The Complaints Commission accepts written complaints with a deposit of EUR 50 on the day of the competition between 10:00 and 16:00 on the premises of the timekeeping service.
The organizer reserves the right to disqualify if the runner violates the rules of AZS or International Athletics Federation - IAAF or the runner does not wear a start number in accordance with the rules of the Athletics Federation of Slovenia or so that it is not visible in full (number and sponsors Novo mesto 1/2 marathon). A competitor may be excluded from the competition if he / she shortens the course, uses another means of transport, does not wear a start number, behaves disrespectfully or obstructs other competitors. A runner may run a shorter distance than registered.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The organizer will use and store the personal data of the registered participant in accordance with the law governing the protection of personal data and the General EU Regulation on Personal Data Protection (GDPR). The stated personal data may be stored and processed by the organizer indefinitely or until the revocation of the written consent of the participant. The participant agrees that the organizers of the event may publish data, photographs, recordings of applicants in the media without demanding any reimbursement in return.
The organizers ensure the protection of personal data that will be used for registration purposes and information on the progress of the application. In case of problems or. ambiguities in the application, the organizers reserve the right to contact the applicant through the means of distance communication.
By registering, the runner allows the organizers to collect and use the personal data they enter when registering. The personal data entered by the runner at the time of registration in a properly protected and protected computer system or through a written registration, the organizers may store and process indefinitely or until the revocation of the written consent of the registered runner. Runners are entitled to all rights in accordance with the law governing consumer protection. In the event of an intrusion into the computer system, the organizer is not responsible. By registering, the runner confirms that the data he has written or given in the application, true and accurate. Runners agree that the organizers of the event may publish your information, photographs, recordings and statements in the media without requiring any reimbursement from you. By participating, runners allow the organizers to process your personal data in their collections and use it for statistical processing purposes.
DECLARATION, DECLARATION OF TRUTH FOR DATA AND CONSENT
By registering for the competition, the runner confirms the truth of the data written in the application. He declares that he is healthy, fully prepared for active participation and medically examined. He will follow all the instructions of the organizer and participate at his own risk. By registering for the competition, the runner confirms his consent to the risks related to participation in the Novo mesto 1/2 marathon and therefore will not assert any compensation or other claims against the organizer. He agrees that the organizers of the event can publish data, photos, recordings of applicants in the media without demanding any reimbursement in return.
TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION
Transfer of the registration to another person is available until 15.9.2022. After this date, administrative costs in the amount of 5 euros will be charged. Changing the route is free of charge if the distance is the same or shorter. In case of long-distance changes, the difference in price will be charged on the date of registration.
REFUND OF REGISTRATION FEE
Reimbursement of the registration fee is possible with a health certificate until 15 September 2022 and upon payment of administrative costs in the amount of 10 euros. After this date, registration fees are refunded. We do not refund registration fees due to non-participation!
